TinyChat – Introduction to TinyChat

TinyChat, or IM- Instant chat room or Multi-User Chat, is a small and compact window into multi-user chat-rooms. Small and compact windowing applications that allow multiple users to access the same chat area. The most common format is when one user opens an instance of TinyChat and invites another user to join.

It allows you to browse through the room, search for users you are looking for, and open the room quickly. TinyChat has the same features.

A chat room has a list of users, each with their own screen. When you join the room, it makes the screen refreshes itself. If the user changes his/her view and/or the mouse pointer, the view and user status update.

You can start up and shutdown the small chat room. Every user can have the full control on when to use his/her private message and when to share that message with other users.

For group chats, you can create groups and invite people. You can also post your own messages in groups so that they can be found later. You can even add members as well.

For larger rooms, you can set up different-sized screens and use the same instant chat room. It is a lot faster than using different sizes of screens. But keep in mind that the smaller screen cannot support as many users as the larger screen can. Therefore, one can find that he/she has to wait longer to chat with some of his/her friends, especially if they are on a bigger screen.

You can use it to block specific users or to remain hidden from others. TinyChat does not have a feature for public chats.

If you have more than one computer running TinyChat, you can set up your instant chat room to be virtual. Just add an entry point into the WebUI. Then you can create the windows anywhere you want, even if your computer is offline.

TinyChat can be used in the event that you would like to create a virtual chat room for one or more computers in your home or office. You will need a router and a software server. One way to create the virtual chat room is to use the Web UI.

Therefore, if you have multiple computers in your home that are all connected via TinyChat, you will be able to access a wide variety of available instant chat services. With advanced filtering features and privacy settings, you will be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality in your chat room.
